The Cruising Season has officially started in Portland!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The annual Portland Transmission Cruise marks the start of the cruising season. This was the 37th year for this event. I've been attending since 1991 as part of the model car club. The owners always give us a personal invitation and they always make sure we have a prime spot for maximum exposure. Registration was cut off at 500 this year the final guestimate was there were over 750 cars at the cruise. There area around Portland Transmission Warehouse was blocked off. The cars at the event were parked anywhere they could. There was no available street parking for an area of about 6X12 city blocks. And Some form the SABA Display: Hosted on FotkiThe are 2 albums 1 for the Cruise and 1 for the SABA display. We'd much rather have you at home getting well then out in the morning air. It was a bit on the cold side if you were in the shade. It was somewhere around 45 degrees at 7 this morning.

Cool pictures, but I too was sick (still am), something Dave Beach and I picked up while in Salt Lake (not swine flu though).
But I do have a hankering for some BBQ pork ribs now,
Mmmm BBQ.
