Started this project after acquiring 2 '59 El Camino kits. Will be using the other for a '59 Buick El Victamino resin Custom. Thought it would be easier to build the chassis, etc., at the same time. Anyhow, here are a couple of reference ideas for the Gasser.
Fabricated a resin Tear Drop for the hood.
Here's how she sits as of now.
Still have a ways to go. Not sure if I want to use the 409 Tri Power or not; pick the wheels and tires as well as ride height. Thanks for lookin.

That"s looking good Bruce. Gasser aren't my favorite subject but...you are doing this one justice. Good job on the hood....are you casting resin now?

Thanks Gary. Gassers aren't every ones cup of tea, however they are one of mine. No, the tear drop was cast by my friend Ed Fluck in Pensylvania. ( Formerly Drag City Castings. Hopefully, he may open his doors again, if this recession ever lifts.)

You guessed it. This one is back on the bench also. Raised the suspension, resin Halibrand and American Mag wheels shot with Alclad chrome, roll bar. Haven't chose my colors yet though.
