I don't know if the rest of you suffer with adult ADHD but, even though I have a project that still needs to have the paint clear coated and rubbed out and the interior finifhed before the NNL next Saturday, I still managed to get distracted by a build over on the MCM forum. Drago, from Sao PAulo, Brazil is building his version of Robert Lomas' '34 Coupe.

Drago, is doing some outstanding work on converting a AMT '34 5 Window over to a 3 Window. Seeing his build reminded me of a body that has been floating around the hobby/computer room for a couple of years now.
So, here is my version of the classic '34 3 Window Coupe. The body is of course an AMT '34 5 Window with the entire 5 window green house removed. It was replaced by the 3 Window green house from a Revell 3 Window snap kit. The fit between the too different bodies is pretty close with just minor reshaping of the body section between the rear of the green house and the upper trunk line. Of course the rear door line on the 5 Window body needed to be filled and new door lines need to be scribed to represent the 3 Window doors.
The ride height hopefully will remain about where it is in the mock-up. The blocks are under the front axle as I managed to snap the end off so it is in the process of getting pinned and glued back together.
Plans for under the hood are pretty much open for suggestion. Let me know what you think and we'll see which is the most viable.
Hopefully the finished build will look something like this:
