I will try and not mess up and to be there! I've managed to miss virtually every PNW show this year so far. Pathetic.. So, I've got a bunch of stuff to bring down. I hope to be able to put a few "faces on the names" while I'm there.
The 1:1 exhibits are very cool!
BTW, will there be a primer table? I'll probably have a coupla w.i.p.s I might show.

We're looking forward to seeing you here Bernard. Yes...there is a DISPLAY ONLY table. Primer builds will go there.

The more places that get the word the better. As far as a map goes....one can use map quest. The Address is on the Flyer. I'll try and load it in here... The address to the Elks Club is...6313 75th st. W. Lakewood Wa. 98499. CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW... and it will take you to Map Quest. Plug in the Club addy and then the starting Address and it will give you a map and directions(if you click that option) mapq.st/KntZtQ

We decided to go a the last second, literally... My Sweet Half woke up and told me that we could go to the contest, I told her no. Yesterday I woke up with a want to do something, but a the same time a want tho do nothing... You know one of those days... After a while she told me about the contest again, and that was a nice day, we could have a nice drive up there, that we had nothing planned for the day... Plus she was looking at me with those sweet eyes... I couldn't say no... I love my wife! So, fed the dogs, grab some models, we left the house at 10. We had to stop for gas, and later for coffee (Duthc Bros. in Kelso)... And we made it to the contest. Glad we went there because the contest was great! After the registration, the first thing you notice were the tables, taller!!! Yes they were taller than usual, and this was good so you can look at all the models and details without bend. Plus on the tables there was a nice wing with number and name of the category, that made very easy find the spot for your models. Another different thing where for the judges, they had two stations, and you had to bring them your model, and when your turn, you had to put it on a stand with mirror, because the judges were not allowed to touch models. This was nice because the judges could ask you question about your model and you explain them. Going to contest, you had to spend hours a the place, and sometime you are bored, bring the model to the judges help you kill the time. About time, at some point is time to eat, and outside there was a food truck with good food. Outside there was a few of 1/1 real cars, two stock Ford T, a "the fastest" T of the three and a rat rod. The day went fast, talking with people, looking for parts or models in the vendors area, there was little over 240 models displayed, and nice awards! Usually I don't write too much about contest and shows, but this one was totally fun! A show that was different, and put together very well, you guys made a great show! I hope other show will copy your ideas... Unfortunately I did not take any pics...

Thanks for the GREAT review Brizio. I really enjoyed seeing you and your wife( missed your dogs though )
Long Hours and A LOT of GRAY MATTER( of which I used 1/2 of WHAT was in there... ) went into this show. But...like ALL fairly large events...it takes the cooperation and hard work of the WHOLE CREW to make the show run smoothly. I would like to give a HUGE THANKS TO THOSE FOLKS. A few minor Admin hick-ups took place but where handled quickly and efficiently..thanks to Susan Davis..Teri Fletcher and Marge Bailey. The folks on the Judging Teams...(Red team...Dave Fletcher, Rick Goar, Harold Conrad. BLUE team....Bob Robinson, Chris Surbaugh,Shelly Lynn) did an outstanding job on ADJUSTING TO and APPLYING a COMPLETELY NEW Judging system. Those guys where on their feet for at least 5 straight hrs with maybe one break so they could eat something.Their determination and integrity kept the judging running smoothly efficiently. A Huge Thank you goes to the SETUP and TEAR DOWN CREWS. It took over 4 hrs to setup and about 1 1/2 hrs to tear it all down and set the room back to the way it was... before we went in there.
All in All...I thought the show went well and we're looking forward to next yr.
