Guys, I am seriously considering a Challenge build for this years Billetproof Washington event. The Challenge will be based on the model year of the previous years t-shirt artwork. The 2012 Challenge build would be based on the 2011 t-shirt artwork. For those of you who either missed the event or didn't pick up a t-shirt here is the artwork from the 2010 show: Hosted on FotkiThe Challenge ties in with the SABA Challenge build currently underway. The SABA Challenge runs through the Sunday July 10th. The Billetproof NW event is Saturday June 25th The same rules apply as the SABA Challenge, build a '36 Ford Passenger car, ie: Coupe, Sedan, Convertible, Cabriolet. The Challenge will be a separate class from the rest of the contest. The Challenge will be judged as trying to do it as Peoples Choice with the normal Peoples Choice voting would be to confusing.

I was looking for the rules. I think I found them. Just want to make sure. Any 1936 Ford Passenger car, any way you want to build it. If that's true I am in.

You are 100% correct Buck, Build a '36 Ford Passenger Car any way you choose. I had thought about applying the Billetproof rules, but I figured we all have at least 1 '36 Ford build gathering dust, so why put up riles that would exclude some builders.

So, let's make this official, the current '36 Ford Challenge build will also be the 1st Annual Billetproof NW Challenge Build. I contacted Alan Galbraith at Billetproof and he is ecstatic to have a dedicated build based on the previous years T-Shirt artwork.
So, if you planned on building a '36 Ford Passenger car for the Challenge, you might consider shortening up your build time with a completion date no later then June 25th. Bring your finished '36 Ford to the Billetproof NW event, after all why not compete with the rest of the group for a plaque for your efforts.
