uugh. wanted to do irs on the T, and I found a prowler transaxle in the parts box. nothing else, just the transaxle with the half shafts. at some point I had two half built prowlers gifted to me. one amt and one revell. I can't find half of my old builds either. somewhere there is a box of parts, 6 or 7 built kits, and 24 cans of testors spray that I have not located.
in that box of parts should be most of a datsun 510. If I find it that L20 will go in the T, sidedraft webbers and all. might use the datsun irs too, need to see it first. If that doesnt work out I have a offy headded flattie from an inherited gluebomb that I will use. Maybe throw the latham blower setup the kit came with on it?
the "32 will get the kit hemi. either blown (cliche I know) or hillborn injected.
both will be on the well used/ratty side, the T much more so. drag/salt, I have not really made up my mind yet and it will probably change several times.

unlike you artful masters, I only kitbash (no fancy aftermarket resins) and rarely scratchbuild anything. I ALWAYS fubar my paintjobs, hence the tendency to turn almost finished models to barnfinds and beaters. on top of all that I rarely finish a kit. once I find the rest of my stuff I'll post up pics of the piles I've built and the half finished projects from days past

so here is the direction I'm going with the '32 www.streetrodderweb.com/features/0909sr_1932_ford_highboy_five_window/photo_01.htmlusing the motorcycle fenders from the T, trans red over gold paint, smoothies from the '40 ford sedan delivery (iirc) and the stock whitewalls from the '62 catalina i just finished. the kit hemi is terrible in that the heads are too large for the block, even in the instructions showing the heads sticking out from the block in all directions. I can't (as of yet) find a parts box block to use, so I dont know yet what to do. cross ram rb block? blown rb? steal the engine from the '71 hemi cuda that's still in the box? the hillborn-esque injector stacks and manifold I have are from the '55 nomad with the gasser parts, and are not in the greatest shape, but might be salvageable. Dont know what to do about the exhaust either. I like zoomies on fenderless rods, but the time I tried to make some out of solder turned out terrible.
