I can't believe this Jeep is done... It was very stressful, above all searching for reference material about it. On the web you can find only a few pics, for a newer model that it is different, fortunately a guy that own one of those send me 60 pics!!! Son thank to him and all those pics, I was able to build it. I started this model after saw a pic from the USS Oriskany (CV-34) an aircraft carrier. The scale is 1/24, and I used for a base the Italeri Jeep. The rear wheels are from a 1/48 Mustang aircraft, the engine is a Hurricane from spare parts. The other parts are scratch built. Fabrizio...your work puts a huge smile on my face every time I see it. Your craftmanship is top notch my friend. This build is spot on to the pic you showed of it. Outstanding job.

I love it. I used to work in Bremerton, Washington. I saw a couple of these jeeps there at the Naval Ship Yard. Great job.

Another particular thing is that the front axle is rigid and the steer works on the rear wheels. Probably for have more mobility.
