Here is the project I started this weekend, It started out as the AMT 1972 Chevy Longbed Pickup I built several years back. Yesterday I decided to cut it up. I started with chopping the cab and sanding the side trim off. Today I shortened the front and rear of the bed. Plans so far are to shorten the stock chassis and lower it down and add Pegasus wheels. I have an original 1970 pickup grill for it and also install a big block engine. Thanks for looking, Dave

I like this. The chop is sweet, but the shortened bed really adds a ton.

Well this one took a slight turn and is getting tubed, but with all my projects everything got put on hold for some personal stuff, to much stress to try and work on something and screw it up worse than normal, lol. Hers a pic of it tubed and about the status its still in....

The chop and the shortened bed make this look low mean and nasty, just the way that vintage of Chevy pickup should look. Going to be a killer pieces when completed.
