Being 600+ miles from home on business can have it pros and cons, this trip to Salt Lake City has been mostly pros. But, today at lunch it got even better. We went to lunch at this little place in the industrial area where we're attending the training seminar called the "Hot Rod Cafe". They've been in business a couple of months and are located next to a Hot Rod parts shop. On the walls are drawings and painting all done by local artist and they're all for sale. This Model A coupe caught my eye and I decided to buy it and add it to my collection. Hosted on FotkiThe photo is behind the "glass" and isn't the best photo but you get the idea. I'll run it through the scanner when I get home so you have a better view of the coupe. I have 1 Monogram '30 Model A coupe left and this will be it's fate. I am hoping to get started on this project early next week after I get home and through Billetproof NW. I'll keep you posted on it's progress.

After a little liquid Evergreen magic filler the body is saved for use in building the Coupe: Hosted on FotkiNext on the agenda is to lower the roof and proceed with the building of the chassis.

I guess I didnt totally ruin that body.... Nice job on the repair. to much laquer thinner dried out my hands to the point of not being able to hold onto anything anymore, I'm surprised I havent dropped one of my finished cars! I'm glad you were able to fix it. I'm also glad everyone enjoyed the americas funniest video moment, lol!

Good job Fletch. A little primer and it will be stronger than new.

A little more work on the Coupe today, got the roof down to where I think it looks correct. Hosted on FotkiNeeds a bit more sanding and filling before primer, but considering the condition of the body a week ago, I'm pleased with the progress.
