Earlier today members of SABA and Lane Auto Modelers Ass'n (LAMA) met for the 3rd Annual Inner Club Challenge. Pietro's Pizza Parlor was the venue for the Challenge. The subjects for this years Challenge were the Revell '37 Ford Pickup, the Revell '57 Chevy Belair 2 Door Post and any of the new 'Muscle' Cars.
LAMA's Chris Surbaugh's Dodge Challenger was the winner of the Modern Muscle Cars.
SABA's Dick Ellingson's '37 Ford Pickup was the winner of the '37 Ford Pickup entries.
Both winners used color and great bodywork mods on their builds. As always a great time was had by all attending with better then normal pizza and great fellowship.
A new format will be instituted for future Challenges. The build subject choices will come from one the club, then the next year from the other club. LAMA's choices for the 2011 Inner Club Challenge are the new Revell '62 Impala and any body style or manufacture of '40 Ford.
You might have noticed that I didn't tell you who won the '57 Chevy Challenge. Well, that's because this was the only entry for the '57 and as you can see it's slightly unfinished.

The '57 Chevy Challenge will move over to a SABA only build starting at the June club meeting and ending with the August meeting.
The 2011 SABA-LAMA Inner Club Challenge will be June 4th at Pietro's Pizza Parlor, hope to see you there.
