At the Model Fest I was talking with someone about lighting up models. How it used to be done with wheat bulbs. A member at Sharksrealm has lit up a Mach V Speed Racer car using LED lights from Christmas lights. Radio Shack Special. Here is the link to that. www.sharksrealm.com/sd/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=2130He wanted to enter it into a model contest and was worried about heat so is changing the system a little. Here is the link to that. www.sharksrealm.com/sd/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=2161I am new here and don't really know all the rules. If you don't want links to other sites delete this and I will understand. Some sites are like that.

I saw a the contest also a truck with all the light working. It was very cool! Personally I don't like/care have working lights on a model. But a good idea that helps to keep the original head or tail light on a model could be using some optic fiber. Like they do on the motorbike!
