I was out in the garage this evening looking for a 'Nailhead' Buick engine for a '34 Ford Pickup CBP that is going on over on the TRaK forum when I came across an AMT '29 roadster that I started several years ago and it followed me into the house. My best guess is that this build got started in 2000/2001. The frame has been Zed in the rear and the front cross modified to accept the drop axle from a Revell '32 Ford kit. Hosted on FotkiThe hood sides were to be a combination of those from the Revell '32 Roadster and the AMT '29 Roadster. About the only thing that was going to be from the AMT kit was the body, fender unit, hood and grille surround. The reminder of the build was going to be adapting the Revell '32 Ford kit to the '29. The seat is from the Monogram '32 Roadster IIRC that has been cut down to fit the '29 interior. The original plan was to use the Revell 5 litre V8 from the '32, but now that I know a whole lot more about flatheads then I did 10 years ago, I may very well dig out a flatty and throw some speed parts on it. Stay tuned.

Go with a Flatty, Dave. That looks good, time to get it finished.

That looks good Fletch!! I love it when a started build from the past(garage) follows us back into the work bench area. Makes me think that it wants to be finished...or something .. A few have done that to me ....infact...it's happening as we speak(or type) As always...I'm looking forward to the next installment on this puppy....
