IPMS Region 7 @ the Evergreen Air and Space Museum

Last Saturday several of us attended the IPMS Region 7 show at the Evergreen Air and Space Museum. The group from SABA comprised about 85% of the Car entries at the show. The major part of the 1st place trophies came back to Portland with only a coupe going else where.

The best part of the show was getting to go through both Museums. As participants of the IPMS show we were given discount rates to the museums, for both the Air and the Space museum the saving was $6 per person.

This is not all the SABA entries that took home awards, I've got to figure out how to slow FaBrizio down so I can get photos of all his winning entries. All in all, the Oregon Historical Modelers put on a great show. I for one know I'll be back next year.

Agree with you Dave!!! Was a pleasure meet and spend some time with you and your wife, and all the other SABA members.
It really was a very nice contest, with a lot of military stuff, I'm always amazing about how they paint those military truck, tank, above all the soldiers, expression and posture looks real!!!

Amazing also see all the variety of airplane inside the museum, above all see the Spruce Goose, that it is gigantic!!! Nice also outside in the back of the museum, where there are some airplane, and some Russian tanks and trucks on a hill, that looks like an invasion.

Dave, I don't know either how to slow down myself... This year I can't stop to build!!!
