A the last SABA meeting a member gave to me this model. Sorry I don't remember your name!!! My memory is so bad... It was already build, but missing the decals. With the other members during the meeting we try to understand who made it. So I started to remove parts... And parts but nothing... Some guess was Tamiya. Ant it was correct. It is a Tamiya kit in 1/20, called Snap Loc (the same of the Revell's Snap kit), from the '93 Indy Car World Series High Speed Oval Car. About a Lola-Ford T93/00 thingy Simon Duracell-Mobil1-Sadia, drove in the 1993 by Raul Boesel. The same night after the meeting I finish to remove all the parts, pretty easy because no glue was used because of the "snap loc"... And this is all the parts... The problem was find the decals for it. I look online but nothing. So after thinking how I can use it, I though to ask a the Tamiya the decals... Send to them an email, and after 10 days the mailman (or better mailgirl) left on the mailbox a yellow envelope from Tamiya!!! Inside the decals!!! Great service!!! Thanks to that I can finally say that I start to build this kit!

Will see Dave what happen with this model. It is completely new for me build a Indy car, but is fun! Fun also to build something that it is different from what I usually build. Thank you again for the Jeep, I don't see the time to start it!!! Yesterday it got the wheels!

The thing is my friend every now and then you've got to step out of your comfort zone. I have been amazed at how much my skill set has gotten expanded with the Rollin' Bones Sedan. A couple of years ago I would have never even considered trying a project of that scope. I have no doubt with the skills you have and your ability to adapt that this will have the level of detail of your 1/164th scale tank and beyond.

You are right! And is nice to look the old models that are on the shelf, and see how much we have changed our build style and our skill. Back on this project, I can say that it is on the shelf right now. I can't believe myself that it is already done! Wow!!! I can say that I'm happy about it, almost a the end of the build, I found out that the front strut where missing... After spent 30 minuts looking around the room, I give up, and scratch build it. I also made new black/red stripes on the model without using the decal.
