This weekend my 10 year old Great-Nephew/God Child had to stay home while his half-brothers went to Wildlife Safari in Winston, Oregon (long story, seriously sucks). On Friday Clayton and I took a trip to Hobbytown USA. There were no restrictions on which car or truck model he could buy. After about 30 minutes he settled on the Revell '68 Dodge Charger. Off to Great-grandma's garage we went. Over the course of Friday and Saturday we managed to get about 70% of the model completed. We'll finish the build the next time he stays at Grandma's, which should be over Labor Day weekend. Needless to say I got nothing done on any of my builds, but it was well worth it. If you're wondering why we didn't build on Sunday, we had tickets to the Mt Dew Dew Tour to watch the BMX bike park finals and the FMX Motorcycle finals. Sometimes you have to give up building for high flying aerial motorcycle stunts. Hosted on FotkiMore when we're finished with the build. Thanks for looking.

He has built a couple of snap kits but this is his first full detail build. So far it looks pretty good, paint's a little thick, but then who of us got it 100% the first time around.
