Dave, where's all of the club members with computers out your way? Is anyone else going to join the forum?

Your guess is as good as mine Wayne. I presented the forum and the website at the meeting a week ago. I also, put a link to the forum on the website to the forum. So far no one else has joined. I'll present it again next Sunday at the January meeting.

Well the idea is to post what you're building, struggles you're having with a build and your finished builds. At the top of each board are posts explaining how to post a topic, reply to a topic and how to post photos from both Fotki and Photobucket.
Yeah, we get to see what each other is building or finishing before the rest of the club that isn't on the forum, our good luck their bad luck.
It's a way we can communicate during the month between meetings. We also have former club members who are no longer in the Portland area and it's a way for them to stay in contact with the group.

One of the things that ProBoards has done is to allow photos to be loaded directly onto the site. When you reply to a posting or start a new Thread there is directly under the "Subject" on the left side of the window a new line there called "Attachment". You can load directly from your PC onto the site. The maximum attachment size is1024KB or 1MB. Photos from your web cam shouldn't be anywhere that big. The preferred size for photos is 640X480, that give an image large enough to show detail but, not take up the entire screen with a single image.

Thanks Dave, i use 640x480 setting on my cam. we shall see how clear i can get. My willys looks good on cam pic, so i know it can be done. Im having some fun with that 48 ford. (Fun = creativity, ingenuity, evergreen plastic and superglue....and frustration, lol.) Maybe I will post progress pics on it. Thanx again, Vance
