Let me start off by saying the way this truck looks now is not what I had planned when I got this kit 4 years ago. I intended it to be a tow pig for a 38' tri axle galaxy trailer I have but recently after digging it back out I opted to put a little back woods touch on it. I know the truck isnt a diesel engine truck but SHHHHH nobody else needs to know that. Enjoy. OH btw the suspension works. what i started with The choice of color the start of a scratch built bumper The height im going for when resting, tinted windows and custom made stacks. Rear links done and functional started a diorama base for it to sit on Front links in Next i need to build the shocks front and rear that will help it stay centered and at the resting height that I want but still allow it to flex. Thanks for looking, all comments/suggestions are welcomed.

WOW! That's pretty cool! Are you making the suspension working too?

WOW! That's pretty cool! Are you making the suspension working too? Thanks Brizio! The shocks will be nothing more than a rod full length from chassis to axle inside a tube about 3/4 the length. The rod will slide up and down inside the tube allowing the flex of the suspension. Ill allow the shocks to pivot on the axle and the frame to support the twist of the axles.

Well its almost done! Got the body and bed attached to the chassis, got all the trailing arms in final position and tires are glued on. I went and glued a small bump stop block under each trailing arm on the frame to set the ride height but still allow the suspension to flex. I also found a grill guard in my parts bin from something of which im not sure but it fit the front end of the truck so I cut it to sit on the bumper. I then opted to make my own shackles out of paper clips and used a small chain and paper clip to finish up the front end. Enough talk time for pic. big difference from the stock tires on the kit lol

Hey Nate....I won't be able to get there. I probably won't make it to the same show here at the end of this month. Oh well...there's next year...maybe..LOL..
