Got an email earlier today from Model Roundup announcing the upcoming release of the new Trumpeter '64 Ford Falcon Sprint Hardtop. The anticipated release is 6-9 months from now as the kit is in test shots now. Hosted on FotkiI don't know about you guys but the '64 Falcon Sprint has always been one of my favorite cars. It was stylish and fast even with a 260cid V8. Model Roundup is predicting that the kit will be along the lines of the '63 Nova. The only down side of the kit is that it's from Trumpeter and you get to pay for the import taxes with your purchase. The anticipated price of the kit is $49.95. I'm not real excited with the price of the kit but seeing how it's a totally new kit, you can bet there will be one in my stash shortly after they hit the LHS shelves.

That is a sweet news! A friend of mine used to race a 64 in Italy. Could be a nice replica.

Man....it's good to see a new tool. The Falcons from '62-65 are the coolest small cars ford came out with..IMHO. When I was 19 a friend of mine owned a 63 Futura Sprint. Black w/Red interior. Bucket seats, sun tach on the colomn and three on the floor. It also had the very quick 260. Very cool car. i also had another friend that had a 65 Sprint. It looked like the same Car that's on the box Art..save the yr. Same color and everything. Boy..the price TAG on this IS a little steep. But...as I ask myself the question...do I really need this kit..."NO". Do I really want this kit..."OH YEA!" Sooo..I"ll Also probably have one on the shelve here as soon as they hit the LHS. OH...and...Thanks ALOT DAVE for posting this... ;D
