As you can tell from the other threads posted there are several things currently in the works. So, what do you do when you're waiting for paint, putty and glue to dry? Well you either start a new project, or you dig out one that you started years ago that you hated the direction it was going in and change it. So, that is the story of this little Step Side. It had the Corvette tail light valence from the AMT '50 Chevy pickup. Big tires and wheels and looked like crap, so back into the box it went. Seeing how I have gotten the bug to build traditional (read as nothing later then 1970) I thought this would make a good candidate. Pretty much it's going to be an out of the box build with a few extras added here and there. So far the front has had the pins removed and relocated to the very top of the a-arms. the rear has had the "springs" cut down to the point that the rear end was even with the chassis, at this point the frame had "C" reveals filed into it. As with a lot of the Revell kits from the late '90s the body panels at the rear of the cab need a fair amount of fill work as does the grille surround. Hosted on Fotki
