I find I tend to finish some of my kits in a more timely manner if I have a deadline. With that said would anyone be interested in doing a community build. My idea of a community build off would be a theme but not limited to a specific model kit. For me I'm open to trucks, muscle cars (70s) a few drag race cars, and I even have a few nascar kits. I would also be open to the idea of doing a large scale build off as well. Possibly do what my local club has called in the past a parts bin build/scratch build where at least half of the build is scratch built or bashed from multiple kits. Anyone interested I have had an itch to want to build but have builders block lately, someone motivate me by accepting this build off. I'll even let you guys choose the from one of the class that you may have a kit that fits those classes. Only requirement I think should be set is the kit may not be more than 25% complete and we can work out a due date if we decide to move forward. Hope to hear from you guys.

In order to have a Community Build, it helps to have a Community first. If you're looking for a Gasser Build Group, there is one coming up in Feb at the WORX. Tell em Dogfish sent you. modelworx.proboards.com/

Well...this board DOES have a community... some folks just like to look in on things and not post. Nothing wrong with that. The idea of doing a CBP is good. But...the participation might be small. But...it's a good thing that you are willing to at least post an IDEA here. If you're looking for inspiration to get out of the dreaded BUILDERS BLOCK...try going to Scale Auto forum or MODEL CARS forum. They have ALL the basic categories and subjects that ALL car guys like...plus a few more. As far as me jumping in on a CBP right now...I couldn't do it. I've got enough builds on my list to do... that it will last me for 5 yrs.
