The model is finally done. It is pretty much out of the box, except I add the scanner light, side windows and the driver. I had a lot of fun building it, I also made a stop motion movie about it.

Man...OH MAN....Now that movie was FLAT kool!! You did an outstanding job on the stop motion. The best part for me was when the chassis pulled up in front of the body and it just climbed right on. Kinda looked like the whole thing was "POSSESSED"...lol Great job my friend...

Thank you Gary! I had a lot of fun doing the stop motion movie. It was also a challenge since I had no experience in this stuff... For a long time I wanted to do a stop motion movie, but I didn't find a nice subject. And after I look a some model I have and found K.I.T.T, a car that drive itself, the perfect subject! It toke little over 10 days and almost 600 picture... I'm thinking to use K.I.T.T. in a mall diorama.

I know stop motion is labor intensive work. A lot of pics and small movements of the subject. The very first KING KONG Movie was done in stop motion along with alot of the early SCIFI Movies. Labor and time are a few of the reasons that its not used very often today. Another KOOL art form. It would be kool if you could do a movie shot of KITT backing out of a SEMI Truck that''s moving down the road and then speeding past the truck... Alot of work on that one!!!

It would be cool to do another movie with the semi, but I need to build it first, and you know I'm pretty lazy... It would be cool tho... It is funny that you said that, because I'm thinking to make a diorama, and one of my though was to make the car coming out of the trailer, build the rear part only of the trailer, like 2 inches only so to speak and leave the car on the ramp. But after it is difficult to see the led scanner... So I was thinking of more a basic diorama with only the car.
