This 911 belong to a family friend, that recently, tragically died. He always had Porsches, this is a replica of one 911 he owned that I'm particularly attached because I drove it so many times. The kit is Fujimi and is a curbside. Open box... The first thing I did is remove the sunroof lines and put some primer on the body. Painted the under chassis, and also washed. I went litter heavier than usually, but this car was driven a lot, from the race track, dirty road even few time in the snow...

It's looking good to this point my. Good weathering job... He was a good man, with a big heart. I remember after I had my driver license he came home for lunch, ask me to go buy him some cigarette and gave me his car keys, I remember that my parents did not liked the idea, but he was pushing it... So I had to drive it. I need to say I was pretty scary, the 911 was nice to me too, like she knew I was scary. After we became friend and reached numerous time the three speed digits... The seats.

Three digits on the speed-o-meter eh? Now this was in Italy..correct? I didn't think there were any roads that were straight enough to run that fast!!! OK...maybe that's stretching it a little.....Did you get that pack of cigarettes?
That dash and seats are looking good Brizzz....

LOL! You don't need straight roads for go fast! Yes I got the cigarette! About going fast, one time I was driving with my mom. I was going up hill for go in the center of the town, did a second third gear pulling a little, and my mom start to say "Don't go fast!" I look a the spedometer and it shows 120Kmh (74Mph). The speed limit was 50kmh (30mph). Luckly my mom did not see the speedometer, if not she start to scream! Here the interior, the only thing I added are the seat belt receivers.

Makin good progress brizio! I love to see replica builds for passed friends or family members because the builder puts so much more effort into the build. Can't wait to see more.

Nice and clean my friend. You're keeping up those great standards. Thank you Gary! The 911 is almost done, needs license plates, that I don't remember the numbers, or at least all... So I ask my brother to look if we have picture of it. If not he can ask the sister of the owner the numbers.
