I have an airbrush, a Badger 350, that I have been trying out on some things and It is going well. The hardest part is cleaning it. I have only been using acrylic paint because I thought I could just soak the parts in water and that would do it. I was wrong. What should I use to keep the airbrush clean with all types of paint? Also, where should I keep bodies when their paint is drying so dust doesn't collect on them?

I invested in a Kendal ultrasonic cleaner, because I was having the same problems. So far Windex or equivilant works great at getting those hard to clean areas. Also, you may want to increase the pressure to 20 to 25 psi. Some of the acrylics dry so fast and some are using Pledge floor shine as a diluting agent. Keep trying.

This is what I have used for at least 30+ yrs and it's worked out for me. I use Lowes- Home depot Lacquer thinner to clean ALL paints from the airbrush. The only exception that I've run into is Plasti-kote "Brush on" Odds 'n' Ends fast dry enamel which can be cleaned with Xylene(also found at Lowes and H.D.
