I "patterned" this build, after the old "Hardtop Class" cars that ran at ROCKET SPEEDWAY during some of my "younger years". I posted some "reference" pictures in the "correct section" so you can see some of the REAL cars..... Started with some "left-overs" from one of the LINDBERG "Vintage Modified" kits....... "revised" the frame (along with SEVERAL "supplimental" frame parts, then, resin fuel cell, resin battery, resin fire-extinguisher, tires/rims, plus wiring & plumbing.......... ..................................... ...................................... I used a HUDSON "TWIN-H" engine........ ............................................. ............................................... It was one of those fun "slump-buster" types of builds, that you just "detail whatcha want to, THEN QUIT"!!!!!!! DJ

Very nice! I like the color, it make a great contrast with the chassis.

Nice. I see that Hudson engine turing up in a lot of models now.

THANKS GUYS!!!!!!!!! These "kits" require a L--O--T of "extra parts" (and fabrication) to turn them into "something worth having on the shelf"...................... The engine (which came out of the new HUDSON HORNET kit) is REALLY NICE.......... A friend was building a Hemi-Powered "street cruiser" out of his Hudson kit, so I swapped him a Hemi out of a '57 Chrysler 300 for the Hudson engine...... Have plans to turn the Chrysler into a DESOTO so have a Firedome Hemi "ready for that kit".............. DJ

And, again, THANKS!!!!!!!!! I've watched EACH & EVERYONE OF YOU do some F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C ----THINGS with kits that were WAY WORSE (or resin kits that HAD BASICALLY NOTHING to start with) that have done FAR MORE!!!!! Sometimes, it's just "relaxing" to ATTEMPT to "make somethin' outta nothin'!!!!!!!!!! DJ
