I don't know this kind of wheel... This one is made out of paper and some wire. I was kind of referring to the 1/1 type of wheel that didn't use rubber as a tire. I think they where metal or wood. I thought you might be Replicating one of those in scale.

Ok, no I wasn't try to replicate that kind. When I was searching for reference material, I found different monocycles that used rubber tires, the kind that are full of rubber, and no air is required to keep them up. So I was thinking to build one of those. Now I'm with ya. The finished tire in the pic helps me too. They are of the SOLID RUBBER type... Man Fabrizio...your work is blowing me away...... Great craftsmanship my friend....

Here the first test fitting after painting it. The burner is not glued yet, but it will be soon... ;D Now the fun part begin! ;D I need to "study" how the real engine works, so I can make some accurate plumbing. The red cylinder is supposed to be a water tank.

Looks like something from a Jules Vernes Book. Way cool. Thank you Buck! Agree, also because this book was one of the first first steampunk thing. Man....it does look like it's straight out of a Jules Vern Book... Way to cool!! Where does the rider sit?? Or does a person ride on it?? Thank you Gary! Yes, the driver will sit on it. I still need to build the seat, but I try with a 1/24 motorcycle driver figure I have, and there is plenty of room. This picture explain better the situation.

This thing is double cool. Thank you Buck! Or Mono-Cool... ;D ;D ;D ;D I think also to make a wood base for it, it will be easy to manage it. So for now I cut 340 piece for the pavement.

Here the pavement on the wood base. I just notice now that one spot on the picture it is flat, but in the real is not, probably a light effect.
