;D Well I did it, at lunch today I raced over to Tammies Hobbies and snaped up the AMT 76 Gremlin X. Now I am not an AMC fan by any stretch especially a Gremlin but I just couldn't resist. It is typical 1970's metal axle through the engine block. seperate interior sides, stock and "Pro Stock"parts, slicks, headers, Crager SS type wheels, smoked glass?!?! Can someone tell me who ran a Gremlin in pro stock in the 70's. It should be a fun build if it gets that far or I might sell it at the NNL. We'll see. ;D

Thanks for the Kit review Carnut. I might get that kit and build it like the one a good friend had while we where stationed in Germany. His was Red and White exterior with Red interior. I couldn't tell you who ran those bodies in Pro stock...

OH!!!!!! OH!!!!!!!!! I CAN ANSWER THIS ONE!!!!!!!!! One of the "most unique" ProStocks of "the era" had to be WALLY BOOTH and his AMC GREMLIN X !!!!!!!!! Here's a link...... www.competitionplus.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4667&Itemid=24The pictures of the GREMLIN are about half way down the page... I too had gotten one of those kits, but, have plans for a "circle tracker" out of mine....... CAN'T WAIT to see "progress" pictures!!!!!!!!! DJ

Hey, it has been a long time since I have contributed to this forum. I have two ideas in my head either a dropped down street machine or take the body flip it around and build a custome pick up out of it, you know, like what Bob Paeth used to do. Maybe mid engined, cabover style. Who knows, we'll see.
