Well group this is the list I have come up with so far. There are at least 4 events that I have no information on 2 of them are IPMS events in the Seattle area and 2 are LAMA events. The IPMS shows aren't listed on their website and the LAMA site hasn't been updated since at least last May.

Just added the Spring Classic NNL at the Coburg Grange in Coburg Oregon on March 12th to the list. I'll start adding the events to the "News Fader" at the top of the page as they come up. Check the top of the page to see the up coming event.

On April 9 there is the Spring Show in Seattle by Ipms Seattle.

Also the IMPS Chapter in Port Townsend has posted their contest on June 11th. The Seattle IPMS show is listed on their club site but not the IPMS site. But they do have until 90 day before the event to get it approved by IPMS so it is an official event.

The list has been updated to include all the events that I currently know about. 3 additional IPMS events have been added as well as the Vintiques event in Yakima the first weekend in August.

The IPMS events are listed in Purple.

Also, the date for the Rod Run to the End of the World has been corrected to reflect that event being on Saturday September 10th not the 11th. Guess, that's what you get for paying attention to the Chamber of Commerce web site.

As of this evening there are still 17 events available yet to attend this year. The only event I don't have a date for is Stan's Show & Shine in Coburg. When I have the date for that event I will add it to the list.

Wow! 17 shows for the year. I sure do miss all of those opportunities to attend model contests. I am lucky enough to be able to attend 3 to 4 each year and two of those are regular out of state shows.

I don't think we realize how good we have it here in the PNW. We loose a show and we start complaining about how few shows we have. Most of us have never really been out of the area long enough to realize how few shows there are in other regions of the country.

What amazes me is the number of clubs in the PNW that host events, not just model clubs but 1:1 clubs. We are very fortunate to live where we do.

Finally, got the date for Stan's Show and Shine down in Coburg, it will be Saturday September 17, from 9am-2pm. The Show and Shine will be at the Coburg Grange.
