I managed to get a few things done on the trailer for the midget. The chock blocks where added along with the guide bars for the front wheels. A utility box for the tongue, was fabbed and put in place. The tire rack will mount just above the box and nose of the car. Fender supports where also added and they will be cut to shape as they're "in the rough" right now. I'm also back and forth on the style of loading ramps I'm going to use, the style with diamond plate or the style with angle iron that's made horizontally for traction. Most dirt teams used the angle. But...this is an Asphalt car and I think it could get away with Diamond plate. Here are a few shots that's in mock-up...

Man Gary, that is Sweet, the trailer looks as much an award winner as the Midget it is made to transport.

Carbs Huh? Hmmmm... ;D Well...here are a few update pics I can share. The fenders where cutt off and the tires and wheels replaced with 1/18th scale. Leaf springs and individual axles where fabbed. There will be two U-bolts on each base plate of the axle along with a 4 hole mounting plate at the base of each leaf spring. The ramps were also replaced with NEW fabricated OPEN LADDER style ramps. The new ramps had to have new hinges so those where re-built also. The fenders are going to be either the Round or the squared off style. Beings that most kits have the round style...I'm leaning towards the squared off style. The fenders,Tire Rack and hitch along with the electrics is up next. Hopefully will be finished this week...Thanks for looking folks!

Gary, I am so proud of you still being able to build especially considering your advanced years. The trailer looks fantastic, the attention to detail is what makes your build the class winners that they are. BTW, Teri says it's so nice of you to be building things for midgets, what great community service.
