Now that's really looking cool Dave. The side shot of it really sets it off. Did you chop the top...It don't look like it to me. I chose to hold off on the chop until the mock-up just to see how it would look stock height. I think to chop it would take away from the perspective of the shortened body. Time to cut down some brass stock for the transverse front spring. They will mount under the radiator just behind the front cross-member. Don't know how much more will get done before the OSSM show as we're somewhat holding waiting on parts from RMoM.

Not a great deal to report on the build, the motor mounts have been added as well as the kick up on the rear of the frame. The roof ended up with a noticeable dip between the 2 halves of the body, so another round of putty has been added to it. At the OSSM show a couple of weeks ago, Chris Millar mentioned that I should use the grille from the '27 Touring that was sitting in the 'Box Stock' section. The Touring was a Citroen Touring from Heller. Hosted on FotkiThe Citroen Touring has a noticeably narrower grille then does a Model 'T' of the same vintage. If someone has one of these Heller kits laying around and wants to part with it let me know. Hopefully, the parts from RMoM will be here soon, as I'm looking forward to getting this build on the shelf. Here are the color choices for the build, they are House of Kolor. Brandywine: Tangelo: LimeTime: Passion: Hosted on FotkiLet me know what you think of the color choices.

Man Dave...If I had that kit...it would be on it's way to you. I sure liked seeing this build in person at the OSSM show. I like the idea of the front Grill. As far as the paint color goes....Geeeeze...ALL of them look good. You didn't make it hard to choose at all...did 'cha?? ;D...Maybe.....between the Brandy Wine and the Passion.....

I think the car looks awesome. As for the color I like Tangelo. I think that color would look good with the grays and silvers of the metal parts that will be on the car.

I like the Tangelo too! But any colors would be fitting good on this model!

The parts from RMoM arrived yesterday, as per normal the parts a totally first rate. Hosted on FotkiI've been looking for something to do with the the QC sticking out the rear of the body. I remember seeing a photo someplace of a rod with the QC out in the open where they built a sprint car type bumper to protect the differential, so, with a bit of wire it should be pretty to replicate.

That's a sweet lookin' intake setup. The QC idea sounds good.
