This is the start of my Jairus Watson Artwork Challenge build. I was fortunate enough to draw an envelope that had one Jairus' 1929 Ford drawings and what I consider as the quintessential Hot Rod, a '29 Roadster on '32 rails. Hosted on FotkiAn AMT '29 Roadster body from a long stalled project along with the frame from a Revell '32 Ford will be the basis of the build. Time to gather up the rest of the pieces and get to building. Stay tuned, this one should be fun.

I'm starting to think it was rigged for you Dave, thats to close to your build style........ lol Truth be known, I reached into the pile just like the rest of you and grabbed an envelope. The chances of me remembering which envelope was which after getting to bed at 2:30 and the alarm going off as 5:30 was pretty much non-existent. I think I could have told you what was envelope #1 and #50 but I seriously doubt I could have told you the rest. When I was going through the word doc and noting whop had what piece of artwork I was surprised who had what. There were several that either drew their selection when I was out of the room or when I was sleep walking because I don't remember them getting an envelope. Oh Well, sleep is highly over-rated anyway.

I hear ya Dave, I slept about the same amount of time you did. This should be a lot of fun for everyone.

Jairus and I are trading builds for the official Artwork Challenge. I still plan to build the Roadster but will take on the VW Bussnano as the official build and Jairus will be doing the '29 Roadster. Hosted on FotkiAbout the only thing that I am missing for the build is the double snorkel scoop. I know that Machined Aluminum Specialties use to have one in their line up. Guess I'll have to get a hold of Ray Parsons of R&R Vacucraft and see if they are still available.

Mike and Wayne, I know that MAS had one with butterflies etc. I have one on as '32 3 Window that if totally necessary I could take it from but I'd rather have one dedicated to this build not scavenged from another project.
Let me know if either of you might have one.
Thanks Dave
