Hey my name is Chris Millar, I'm the youngest member of SABA, have been since i joined in 2001, Ernie was quite excited when that happen, as he was the longstanding youngest before me...
I'm not sure i can be considered a model "builder" any more, as i have not actually finished anything since somewhere around 2003... My 1:1 stuff has taken up my time quite a bit. Id say a model "chopper", or "mockup artist" might be more accurate.
A member of SABA, Bob Robinson once mentioned in conversation if in all the times where he gets an idea for one aspect of a project, and carries it out to the T, if he were to combine all the hundreds of these into a single build, he couldn't imagine the outcome.
I think i might fall under that notion...
I'm trying to fight the odds, and complete a few cars for the up and coming BP Portland Classic in march, in honor/memory of Mr. Bob Paeth... For some reason, with his passing, i have found my inspiration... If only i can get over this pesky painting performance anxiety.

Hey Chris, glad to see that you found your way to the forum. Don't feel bad about not finishing a build for quite some time. I think the last build I completed was a '34 pick-up and we were still living in Milwaukie and that was 5 years ago.
